Julian Ostolaza and Itziar Etxeberria founded Gañeta in 1992 in the family farmhouse in Getaria; their niece Paula and nephew Enaitz took the helm in 2021 and are quietly pushing the farming toward organic practices while keeping the wine exactly as honest and local as it has always been.
