Wild strawberry, red currant, fresh mint, and violet — bright, silky, and restrained with a raciness that feels like the vineyard talking, not the winemaker. 100% Pinot Noir from one hectare of 50-year-old vines on a hillside between Saint-Aubin and Gamay, east-southeast facing, just north of Les Perrières. Virtually no new oak, bottled right before the next harvest to preserve that snap. Roughly 550 cases produced. Sustainably farmed with minimal treatments. This was the first red Premier Cru the Prudhons ever bottled — the red counterpart to Les Perrières' white milestone in the early '80s. Pair with miso-glazed salmon, mushroom dumplings, or a bowl of bibimbap.
