Garrigue, red fruit, and a savory herbal depth — medium-bodied, lively, and refreshing, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a clean finish that runs at just 12% ABV and begs a slight chill. The 2024 Benjamin Taillandier "Laguzelle" is Ecocert certified organic and biodynamically farmed Cinsault, Syrah, and Carignan from 30-year-old vines on schist, clay, and limestone in Caunes-Minervois at 250–400 meters — hand-harvested, cold maceration, native yeast, six months in stainless, unfined, unfiltered, minimal sulfur. Benjamin Taillandier graduated from oenology school, spent time at a conventional winery, and walked away convinced of exactly what he didn't want to do — then met natural winemaker Jean-Baptiste Sénat in 2004, moved to his family's hometown at 27, and set out to prove that Minervois could be lighter, fresher, and more alive than anyone believed. He was right.
