Oregon Uncorked

At West Palm Wine Co., we place a strong emphasis on the singular, small estates crafting world-class wine in Oregon. While there are plenty of commodity wines from large-scale producers coming out of the state, the best examples hail from small-scale, intimate, and indie wine growers. Oregon’s temperate climate is distinctly different from California, yielding wines that are a bit more delicate and aromatically nuanced. Here are three unique wines that underscore the variety and beauty coming out of Oregon.
2023 Walter Scott La Combe Verte Pinot Noir. This is a benchmark, medium-bodied Pinot from a great family. You get all the hallmark qualities we love in Pinot, including aromatic red fruit and dried herbs.
2024 Ovum Big Salt. This wine is a hodgepodge of white grape varieties crafted in a very fresh, snappy, and salty style. It’s the perfect après-tennis sip to savor while sitting by the pool.
2022 Swick Wines Chillable Red. This wine showcases a distinctive co- fermentation of white and red grapes, primarily sourced from Oregon with a touch from Washington state. It is an airy, light red that is best served with a bit of a chill.
