Eliot Kessel and Jude Zasadzki started Wavy in 2019 as a California "vins de soif" project, making low-intervention wines built for summer drinking. Super Californian is their red blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Zinfandel, juicy and easygoing in the glass. It is the kind of bottle that disappears fast at a backyard cookout. Serve it with a slight chill next to burgers or pizza.
