Champagne Veuve Fourny & Fils Has been an active domaine since 1856. The estate is located in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, in the premier cru village of Vertus, an appellation that gives them the rare opportunity to grow Pinot Noir as well as Chardonnay. The chalky terroir of Vertus leans toward classic Côte des Blancs: a fine bead, rich, deep aromatics, and a complex minerality emphasizing freshness and purity.
This is 100% Chardonnay from 40 year old vines and aged 24 months on lees. This wine flexes as an aperitif or paired with fresh seafood.
