The NV Coustheur-Bonnard Blanc de Blancs is organically farmed — though not certified — 100% Chardonnay from 25–50-year-old vines on fragmented old chalk soils in Nogent-l'Abbesse, within the Mont de Berru in the eastern Montagne de Reims — 60% from the 2021 harvest, with reserve wines from 2019 and 2020, disgorged 2025, Extra Brut. The Coustheur family has been rooted in this village for 300 years — a location the grandes maisons have quietly sourced from for decades — and Adrien Coustheur and his professor-turned-partner Mathilde only began estate bottling recently, convinced by friend and grower Alexandre Lamblot that their chalk and their Chardonnay deserved more than to disappear into someone else's blend.
