The 2024 Sclavos "Alchymiste" is biodynamically farmed 50% Roditis blended with a field mix of Moschatela, Tsaousi, Robola, Zakynthino, and Vostilidi — six ancient native varieties from the Paliki Peninsula of Cephalonia on calcareous limestone soils kissed by Ionian sea breezes, spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeast after a short skin maceration, four months on lees in stainless steel. Evriviadis Sclavos was one of the first biodynamic producers in Greece — farming the same ancient vines his family planted on this peninsula
