Lighter, more floral, and more immediately seductive than the Côte du Py — brambly red fruit, wilted rose petal, blood orange zest, a whisper of forest floor and tea leaf, with fresh vibrant acidity, a fine powdery grip, and the kind of delineation that makes you stop mid-conversation. The 2024 Foillard "Cuvée Corcelette" is organically farmed 100% Gamay from 60–80-year-old vines on sandy, decomposed granite soils in a high-elevation lieu-dit right on the border with Chiroubles — same winemaking as always: 100% whole cluster, native yeast, neutral oak, minimal sulfur, no fining, no filtration, no shortcuts. Where the Côte du Py is all granite tension and black pepper and built for time, Corcelette is the more feminine, aromatic counterpart — same domaine, same conviction, a different corner of the hill saying something quieter and just as true.
