Clos Solon is a walled vineyard in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, and Fourrier's parcel is planted to very old vines. His style is all about infusion rather than extraction, so the wine comes out silky and perfumed, with dark cherry, plum and warm spice. The 2024 shows the freshness of the vintage with Fourrier's usual polish underneath. It drinks beautifully with lamb chops or anything with wild mushrooms.
