Micro production — likely between 15-200 cases a year of this old vine bottling. Precise, linear, and quietly serious — supple tannins, vibrant acidity, chalky mineral finish, lovely red fruit and some soft baking spice.

The 2024 Camille Thiriet "En la Place" comes from 90-year-old vines on clay-limestone between Comblanchien and Corgoloin in the Côte de Nuits — 40% whole cluster, concrete tank, native yeast, minimal sulfur, bottled and waxed by hand.

Camille Thiriet and her partner Matt Chittick — now Aubert de Villaine's winemaker at Domaine de Villaine — started this project in 2016 in a 20-square-meter garage with no electricity and four barrels of wine. The garage is gone. The conviction remains.
