The Keller family has been making wines in the Rheinhessen for 9 generations, since 1789. Klaus-Peter Keller and his wife, Julia, took over the day-to-day direction of Weingut Keller in 2001.

The Gruner Silvaner comes from the Erste Lage vineyard of Steingrube in Westhofen and Grosse Lage vineyard of Bürgel in Flörsheim-Dalsheim — vines are younger than 50 years old.
Chipped white stone, yellow fruits, herbaceous, a paradoxically weightless and pristine rendering of viscosity; salty, decisively searing acid, sharp without sweetness. We want this on every wine list, sadly we can’t get what we want.
