Plum, black cherry, chalky minerality, raw cocoa, violets, and a cedary lift — full-bodied, poised, and transparent with fine tannins that build to a serious finish. 100% Pinot Noir from 1.8 hectares in Les Porlottes, at the top of the slope above the village. 50% whole cluster, aged in 30% new oak. Estimated 800-900 cases produced. This is the village wine from arguably the greatest estate in all of Chambolle-Musigny — 550 years, 20 generations, dating to 1450.
