Presqu’ile- French/Creole meaning peninsula, or literally translated, “ Almost an Island”, this comes from the Murphy family’s deep ties to New Orleans.
This isn’t your typical California Chardonnay, more focus here on the cool climate and freshness. The wine does see a range of used oak but the intension here is on balance, never buttery or “sticky.”
