2022 Montemelino Grappolo Rosso

Woman-led and organic since the founding in 1961 by Margret Etten CantarellI, recently the reins were passed on to her daughter Sabina. “Grappolo” is 60% Sangiovese with the tiny DOC’s unique local variety - Gamay del Trasimeno (a local strain of Grenache). 

Juicy sour cherries, herbs and minerals with just a hint of chew, the Grenache adds just a bit of flesh to the wine. A perfect pairing for grilled pork chops and a summer salad.
