Pronounced boor-guh-y, this Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley. It’s cherries and fir forests, berries and spice. It’s cool and juicy, with pleasantly gravelly tannins that hold the flavours long. At 12 % it’s light enough to drink on its own with a little chill and flexible enough to go with a range of food, a favorite being a sausage, sage, white bean soup.
