A super affordable yet serious bottle of Syrah and Cabernet from the Languedoc. It's a unique collaboration between a few growers, a co-op, and importer Selection Massale. Nadia and Guillaume ( the latter being one of the most opinionated, ornery, yet lovely wine personalities that we know) both love the benchmark reds of the south such as Mas de Gourgonnier, Grange des Peres, and Trevaillon. They wanted to craft a wine with a similar vibe yet much--much more affordable.
The wine is packed with dark, sour cherry fruit and just a dash of an earthy natural wine vibe. Sulphur only added at bottling--just a garnish. Bien joué.
