In 1984, Régis Moro — a painter by trade — bought a property straddling Castillon and Francs, mere kilometers from Château Le Puy, and farmed it organically from day one while the rest of Bordeaux chased extraction, new oak, and points. His wines never played that game: spontaneous fermentations, no temperature control, bottled gently and naturally.

The 2005 comes from one of the great vintages — a Merlot-dominant Castillon, now fully mature and showing everything old Bordeaux promises: dried plum, blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco, forest floor, tannins melted to silk. Library stock from the Amoreau family's 2022 acquisition of the estate.

As with all aged wines, these bottles have been evaluated for fill level and label condition, but their evolution in the glass is ultimately nature's call. We've shared everything we know.
