Vom Boden is the greatest importer in the United States, full stop. Ok, that's a bit hyperbolic but the work they do representing small growers mostly from Germany and Austria is nothing short of life-affirming. Why do we make such a claim? Well, for starters they really give a **** and all the people who work for the company from the top down are beautiful, kind humans. 

After twenty years in this business, and having dealt with hundreds of importers over the years, you would be surprised how cynical and apathetic many can be. Vom Boden was founded in 2012 by Stephen Bitterholf, an acclaimed former contemporary painter whose sole muse was the bunny. Check out his work.

Vom Boden started their portfolio with a few growers who at the time were little known outside of a few nerdy circles: Ulli Stein, Weiser-Künstler, Julian Haart, and Peter Lauer. Today, all of those producers and many others in their portfolio are benchmark and highly sought after from coast to coast.
