2024 Domaine Arnaud Baillot Chassagne-Montrachet

All American wine drinkers love to say the word Montrachet...it just makes us  sound so classy and cool and frenchie.

2024 was marked with classic green apple, citrus, and lively acidity. A perfect energy on the palate very different than the 2022 and 2023 vintages that offered more lush, ripe and textural wines.  

True to Montrachet, Baillot's interpretation is a real thing of beauty. Ample yet not heavy. Taut yet not austere. Pitch perfect balance. 

We've had fun pairing this one with various types of richer sushi dishes.
