The 2023 St. Reginald Parish "Meilleur Ami" is a limited, direct press Riesling made with minimal intervention by Andy Young of St. Reginald Parish in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Bright, linear, and stony, with ripe stone fruit, citrus zest, and a clean mineral finish — everything you want from a well-made Riesling and nothing you don't. The name — French for "best friend" — was inspired by Andy's longtime friend Evelyn, a fellow wine person he met pouring in LA; after three years of trying to make this wine together, 2023 was finally the vintage where it all clicked. Serve it cold alongside oysters, roast chicken, or a long overdue catch-up with someone you love.
