One of Burgundy's most iconic whites, the Drouhin vineyard sits at mid-slope on the southern end of the Beaune appellation, farmed biodynamically since the 1990s. The 2023 vintage delivered something special. Lush aromas of Mirabelle plum and quince mingle with hints of marzipan, butter, and a whisper of smoky reduction, while the palate is supple and dense, with the richness kept beautifully in check. It offers sliced apple, white pineapple, crushed stone, dried flowers, and almonds — medium-bodied, focused, and seemingly endless on the finish. Cellar it, or enjoy it now with great pleasure.
