2022 La Bouche Du Roi " Les Louis d' Or" Chardonnay

A fascinating Chardonnay from a historic property planted ( Versailles!) on limestone soils which during the early 19th century and prior, were prolific. A vineyard disease of the late 19th century all but obliterated this significant and singular vineyards of northern France just outside of France. A taut, mineral expression of Chardonnay which we LOVE.
