2025 Frank Cornelissen Susucaru Terre Siciliane Rosato

Frank Cornelissen farms steep old vineyards on the north slope of Mount Etna, working without chemicals and bottling with almost no sulfur. The Susucaru Rosato is a field blend of Malvasia, Moscadella, Catarratto and a little Nerello Mascalese, picked together and given a short maceration on the skins. The 2025 is bright and savory, tasting of wild strawberry, blood orange and a salty volcanic edge. Serve it cold with grilled shrimp, crudo or a plate of cured meats.
