2021 Chateau du Petit Thouars Chinon Rouge “Les Georges”

Named in honour of Sébastien's ancestors — nearly all of whom bore the name George — Les Georges is produced entirely from the free-run juice of younger Cabernet Franc vines, vinified and aged in stainless steel. Classic Chinon through and through: vibrant red fruit, honest tannins, and a refreshing earth-mineral interplay with plenty of spice and drive. Charming, unpretentious, and endlessly food-friendly.
