2021 Cascina Preziosa Spanna

Cascina Preziosa, which translates as Precious Farmhouse, is a historic estate that traces its roots to the Napoleonic era. Cascina Preziosa works exclusively with the indigenous Piedmontese grapes Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Vespolina. Annual production is reliably miniscule—anywhere from 750 to 850 cases per vintage.

Spanna is a blend of Barbera and Nebbiolo, juicy, great acid and freshness with an undertone of mountain herbs. With a slight chill it pairs perfect with meat Agnolotti.
