This is exactly where those two appellations meet — literally — a 0.4-hectare parcel in Les Frémiets on iron-rich limestone soil, vines planted in 1950 and 1980, certified organic and biodynamic, 18 months in barrel. One of the smallest and most quietly serious wines in the Comte Armand portfolio — the same family, the same conviction, but barely enough wine to go around.
