Lesser known Bandol rouge could rival Châteauneuf du Pape in the south of France as the most full bodied red. It pours with a characteristic bright purple hue. The nose is marked by aromas of black fruits, embellished with notes of licorice when aerated. The mouth is fresh and dense, with elegant tannins, offering a finish that is both floral and spicy.
A knockout pair with any type of stew.
