Blackberry, plum, black tea, crushed violets, and a stony mineral backbone — this is Malbec's birthplace, not Argentina. 95% Malbec (called Côt here) with 5% Tannat, hand-harvested, wild yeast fermented, bottled unfiltered. Organically farmed on well-drained limestone terraces above the Lot River — the lighter, brighter side of Cahors, not the heavy brooding stuff from the valley floor. The Bley family has been growing here for generations. Pair with grilled sausages, lamb, or aged cheese.
