These days buying cheap Provence rosé is a risky proposition. The wines can be sweet but lacking acid leaving the wines much less refreshing. But in the slight higher range of $25-$30 the quality dramatically rises. This wine is pitch perfect, quintessential high quality Provence pink: fresh, crispy, light bodied, barely fruity and a tad saline. Pair with your favorite briny east coast oysters.
