2023 Vollenweider Riesling Felsenfest Trocken

Startlingly pure as mineral water and possibly more soul nourishing--we love this entry level foray into Vollenweider as it shows young Moritz Hoffman’s great skill with dry and gently dry Rieslings. 99.9% of people will like this wine, those who don’t’ likely either - a.  don’t like clothes lined dried sheets, wildflowers, mountain streams and sunny days or b. they have an unwarranted attitude against Riesling. 

This pure beauty bursts with aromatics of chopped mint, lime zest and salty mineral water freshness. Better than a margarita with fish tacos, summer salads and without the day after headache to worry about. Bring on the summer parties and keep many of these bottles icy cold, they go down easy.
