We love--love Lardot's style of Riesling. Dry, textural, spicy, baroque, saline. Put this in a category entirely separate from the textbook Moselle Riesling of the 20th century. This wine is arguable how many Rieslings tasted in 1886.
We met Lardot during our 2024 trip--a man of few words. But kind and serious and also likes to roll his own cigarettes.
