Things in Muscadet have changed: the weather. It is objectively getting a bit warmer and wine growers are trying to acclimate. What we have come to expect are now Muscadet’s which are a bit rounder, fleshier on the palate. Quite different from the lighter and sharper Muscadet’s of the past. While we LOVE the older style, we most all accept and embrace, Think Macon Blanc in style. Pair with a Sunday night roast chicken and oven roasted fries.
