Sancerre is expensive these days. Some of the pricing is justified but much of it is, well, just average Sauvignon Blanc farmed with chemicals and costs $35 per bottle. Cheverny, however, less well know and a wonderful substitute for Sancerre at about half the cost.
This wine should always be cold and ready to go in your home fridge, it's that kinda pantry staple.
