2022 Clos des Vignes du Maynes, Julien Guillot, Macon Villages Blanc

This is a Macon that rivals some of the finest white Burgundy from more prestigious and fancier appellations. But we could care less about titles....it is what's in the glass. Guillot is a master at crafting low-fi, natural wines made without flaws or bumps and bruises. Soulful to say the least. Lovely alongside some roasted chicken and french fries.
