2021 Chateau du Mourre du Tendre Cotes du Rhone Cuvee Paul

The estate is steeped in tradition and stubborn when it comes to change ( this is a good thing). The family, now in its third generation, has not deviated much from its roots and original savoir faire. Vines are old, no pesticides have EVER been used, and aging is protracted. The resulting wines have more in common with Barolo than the jammy, one dimensional fruit driven wines of the southern Rhone.

Earthy, smooth and deserves a proper leg of lamb.
