This vineyard sits below the 14th century Castel Grumello a twin towered structure that has a view of the entire valley below. Just like the other wines in Arpepe’s portfolio the base is Nebbiolo or Chiavennasca. You can almost taste a whisper of mountain air in this Nebbiolo, nuanced with cherry fruit, glacial water, herbal liquor and black tea. Try with pork tenderloin.
